Calling all baseball fans! This year’s Tee Up Fore the Cure will be celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Milwaukee Brewers’ appearance at the 1982 World Series.
Some of the World Series players that will be attending the event include Jerry Augustine, Mike Caldwell, Pete Ladd, Jim Ganter, Charlie Moore, and Paul Molitor who is this year’s Featured Celebrity.
The 82’ Brewers are not the only star-studded players attending Tee Up Fore the Cure. Other celebrities include Gold Medal Olympian Bonnie Blair, former sports-caster Jim Paschke, and former professional basketball player Junior Bridgeman.
All celebrities attending the event will be paired with a foursome, and the proceeds raised will be donated to JDRF and the Max McGee Center at Children’s Wisconsin to support T1D research. This year, Tee Up Fore the Cure aims to reach $1 million in total funds raised.
Tee Up Fore the Cure will take place on Monday, September 19 at Geneva National in Lake Geneva, WI.
The event is sold out but sponsorships and donations to support T1D research are still welcome at TeeUpForetheCure.com.
