The Featured Celebrity at this year’s Tee Up Fore the Cure will be Paul Molitor! Paul Molitor made his MLB debut in 1978 when he began as a shortstop with the Milwaukee Brewers. He was part of the MLB for 20 years and coached for another three, participating in teams like the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays, and the Minnesota Twins.
This year is Paul’s 35th anniversary in which he achieved a 39-game hitting streak while playing for the Brewers. He is one of the five players in MLB history with at least 3,000 hits, a .300 batting average, and 500 stolen bases. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2004.
